The primary focus of the Arete’ Leaders Initiative is to develop future leaders of our communities. As young scholars develop leadership skills, they also get involved in their communities, mentor younger boys on the importance of academic excellence, and learn valuable life skills through two program components: Frederick Douglass Reading and Building Bridges.
This initiative also helps scholars understand how they can develop careers and achieve their goals and dreams by overcoming obstacles that often divert them from their desired path. At the same time, this initiative motivates young scholars to be community-conscious individuals.
